Oh well, the 1st day of school was rather tiring and mundane.The anticipation and excitement in me was doused by a series of talks.First by the principal,followed by the 3 local Unis,then the respective HODs,and finally some admin stuff before we were finally dismissed.The 1st Uni representative who came to talk talked for well over the stipulated time and as a result,dismisal time was delayed from 12.50 to 1.50.
The teachers are pretty humurous unlike my secondary teachers.And most JC teachers speak good english.And all the teachers seem to emphasize on the difference in standards between secondary level and JC level-a very big difference indeed.Been having a dilema choosing what subjects combi to take.Been pondering over whether to take 3h2 or 4h2,Econs or geog.
Anyway orientation starts only next week.And proper lessons start only on the following week.This practise is different from the conventional Orientation on the 1st week,adopted by most JCs.While week 1 is the Matriculation week for us,where admin issues and jc system etc are in place.
Anyway,I look forward to enjoying my 2 years in jc in which I have no idea what to expect.^^
Btw-the auditorium is big.
