I am back..

A flurry of events had taken place lately. The Promos result are out a few days ago. Sad to say, my class strength will drop by at least 3. 2 of which are repeat students, kinda feel sad for 1 of them.. wonder if I'll ever get to see him again. ;(

Now that promos are over and done with... sigh of relieve for those who will be promoted :*) Though there are still a group of students who are perched in a precarious situation, any hope of redeeming themselves will fall solely on the retest somewhere is late December.

Come to think about it, I am really lucky this time round. Having studied lesser than for the Mid Year Exams, I wasn't really expecting much from what was to come. My hopes were all pinned on Biology which I placed all my chips on...

A brief analysis of the Promos:

H2:

Biology: Made up the core of my revision, did not want to obtain a D again. Went from notes to books to animations and finally turning to friends like Woon Yeow. And the efforts paid of.. 63/100 (B) Was damn lucky to get B for my overall grade.

Chemistry: This was a 'screwed-up' this time. Studied averagely for it. Maybe aptitude counts.. was glad to avert a disaster.. 54/100 D .. I was initially having thoughts of trying an A, but such became a fantasy after taking the paper. C for an overall grade.

Maths: Got to admit that I spent the least time on it. 53/100 was way above my expectation. Managed a C overall. What more to say. xD


H1:

General Paper: Reading doesn't help this time .. doesn't help much that I cant find topics related to environment & technology Geography- was the topic I ended up with.
Extrapolated facts and knowledge from sec4 and J1 geog and spam into the essay with some discretion and Got a B for the essay. 1st time in my JC life. Just lucky to have it at the crucial moment. But all in all I got 59/100 C.

Chinese: B on the dot. 60/100 .. Not an issue if not for the fact that A levels....


Geography: Another lucky day.. 63/100 B despite notching a not so fanciful 46 for Mid years, I managed a 60/100 B. Testament to my lucky aura.


All in all I have to conclude that I am extremely lucky.. very lucky..


The story doesn't end here..
Time to start some serious mugging for chinese and PW /op
Also about time to resume my reading from a 2 week Hiatus.

Cant wait for December..
