One week from the end
And just like that, we are into the penultimate week of my virgin semester. It has been twelve weeks! 12 weeks since I first stepped onto campus, mentally renewed with a rejuvenated sense of conviction. Like an overcharged battery, I was overflowing with zeal and drive. The drive to mug -  seriously. That must have stemmed from the prolonged period of intellectual inactivity and the continual lack of substantial cognitive stimulation. Army wasn't exactly demanding on the mind, not that I mind. In fact I enjoyed that aspect of national service. The gap year that followed was of non academic nature and - well - my mind could only degenerate further. The neural connections governing analysis, critical thinking, memory and the likes of, that would be needed in school must have broken down and in their place, a bunch of other random, irrelevant connections.

But seriously, I have lost the drive that saw me surge through the first 6 weeks. Feeding off scrapes of resonance energy, I am just trying to get through the twenty something remaining days. I have a practical exam this Saturday, and I am like 25% done with my revision. Oh my, what an ominous reminiscent of JC days. All right, time to get back to work. Blogger is really getting worse in terms of its user friendliness.

Argh, I am so lacking in drive

and tired.
